Hi

Have fitted prefilter to my crd Gu and both banjo fittings are weeping, probably made worse due to steep downhill parking. Both fittings are brand new and have only been tightened and re-tightened as far as I dare. Supplied washers appear harder than standard sump plug variety. Are there any tricks to using these fittings or should I just replace with the Superbleep variety.

Also 1 hose is new and the other original - don't think this is the source but ???

Many thanks
Bob

Try using these seals, i prefer these over copper washers.

Thanks threedogs, my thoughts exactly, but it is so frustrating when things go wrong. Just checked in daylight, yes definitely copper, but hang on the they look to be 2 different sizes and what are the odds of getting both fittings wrong at once?
I need to check internal diameter anyway so I'll swap them over.

an old trick is to heat them up with the oxy and then drop them in oil, they go super soft and will seal just about anything
