Replacing 3 ltr motor with 4.2

Hi, we have an automatic 3 ltr 2002 GU turbo diesel that we are planning to upgrade with a 4.2 ltr turbo diesel motor. We would prefer not to sell the car. Has anyone had any problems with this conversion/upgrade?

It's very doable mate. The tricky bit is getting the auto to work with the td42. Patrolapart have done it so try giving them a call and they may be able to point you in the right direction. Also member on here has also done and I believe his vehicle is for sale. Pattywagon I think is his username.
