side mirror removal

Hi Guys , come back from shops found my side mirror glass is broken. my ? is can the mirror be remove from the mechical holder inside the Mirror Unit and if so " How" regards Alex

Yes it can, if you tilt the glass "in" at the top, you should be able to use a torch and look up behind the plastic glass carrier, from memory you should see 2 plastic tabs , release tabs with a flat blade screwdriver, then the whole piece will unhook from the top as well.

FYI, There are mobile guys that will come out and replace the glass for you.
