Have a look at the light itself..
Mine use to snap or get rock hits at the housing itself..

I've also had some issues with corrosion inside the globe holders..
Play hell with the globes. I found a dremel sanding barrel fits perfectly down it..

They should just unscrew from the housing.

Does anyone know what power should be at brake and driving light?

If you still have OE globes you'll find over the years the lead on the base of globe will wear away.
sometimes if you hit the lens it will come good, but a sign all globes may need changing if the same age.
Something a lot of ppl forget to do

All sorted the solder on the connection was preventing the power to flow through

I have a very similar problem to this, but my indicator and rear light isn't working. Brake light is fine. Where abouts did you find the solder connection? My globe holders look fairly well sealed up.. the wire disappears into the plastic and I can't see anything from there.
