I apologize, but it seems everywhere I turn, I can not find a suitable site to ask this question. I am us military stationed in japan, and I am beating my head against a wall.

I was driving home one day and this 1999 Mitsubishi Pajero GDI just does on me. Then wouldn't start.

So far I have changed the spark plugs, entire intake system, checked the fuel filters (only internal) and replaced the fuel pump. When I go to crank it sputters to a high rev, then dies. I cannot hear the pump running with the key in the on position, but spits fuel out of the fuel line from the pump when the key is in the start position. Any help would greatly be appreciated and so is your understanding of this misinformed Yank.

Additionally, when I first turn the key to on, I hear the throttle position sensor running and about 5-6 clicks coming from the engine.

G'day Christopher,

Sorry I can't help you mate and generally we ask folks to say Gday but I hear your pain mate ;)

There is an active Pajero forum in Australia I think and I reckon you'd be way better off asking those blokes??
