I feel sorry for you Clunky, I got a chemical burn in my eye from the local pool earlier this year.
At one stage they were going to send me to the Eye & Ear Hospital in Melbourne as there were no specialists available locally. After that was fixed I got conjunctivitis for about 2 weeks.
These guys have no sympathy, it looks bloody ugly but they don't realise that it looks even worse from your side. :smileyvault-cute-bi

What did ya do Clunka??
Nothing exciting, just conjunctivitis with a bit of a reaction to the eye drops, best case. Worst case ankylosing spondylitis (google it) acting up due to the conjunctivitis but will find out on Monday........
I reckon it's just a reaction to the ee drops

Fusion of the spine is just one cause of AS, it also causes inflammation and pain in other areas as well as affecting soft tissue such as kidney, liver and eyes etc. Wikipedia isn't the greatest source of info on the subject.
