Patrol Newbie

Hi all,

New to this forum and Nissan Patrol ownership.

I have recently purchased a 95 GQ 2.8 litre, only has 155k on it so it should last me a while.

The Nissan was purchased mainly for the extra room, so myself and the family can do a bit of exploring and camping.

This is the first Patrol that I have had after a long list of Land Cruisers. Guess I finally seen the light:):) much to the Land Cruiser loving wifes distaste:tease:

Dan I can't help with the wife mate (sorry) but I can say Welcome on board.

There is plenty to read & a great bunch of ppl here who are more than willing to help answer questions you may have about your new Patrol & just chat with in general, & by the sound of your wifes reaction you may well need it....lolol...Joking of cause.

Yeah she is in good nick, I couldnt go past it when I seen it. 155k on the clock, everything is imaculate. I dont think it has seen much offroad. I was looking for a GU but when this one came up it was too good to go past. It is bog standard other than the snorkel and bullbar. I updated the radio as it still had the original tape deck in it when I bought it but thats about it. I wont be doing anything much to it other than services and fixing anything that wears out, but from what I have heard Patrols are as tough as nails and last for ages.
