Hi everyone! Great to be here on the Nissan forums.

I have owned a few 4x4's & done a lot of wheeling over the past 2 years or so since seeing the light & getting my first 4by (which was an NJ Pajero btw :/) But everyone has to start somewhere i guess!

However i have never felt the need to join a forum ect, as i never used to do my own work on my vehicles (Obviously had more money than sense), or had the time to socialise with the community ect. Although after being newly single after a 10 year relationship & 2 children later, I'm finding i have alot more time on my hands to go wheeling/camping ect & also the time to do alot of my own work on my beast.

I have always serviced & done minor repair work my own cars since being of age to drive, But since owning a 4wd, things needing repair are obviosuly in alot more need than in your regular road car (If your using your 4x4 for its intended god given purpose of course, Not being a road tractor) thus the reason in joining this forum :)
In the last 2 weeks alone i have Replaced the Sump gasket, distributor, alternator & im currently working on my Hub/Stub/disc assembly & all bearings ect due too breaking my wheel bearing then driving about 10kms to actually get out of the track i was on, which obviously shagged everything else from the ball joint out. I have previously repacked wheel bearings/Hub bearings ect on my d22 navara, But no harm in searching for a thread on how to now do it on my 3L GQ.

Anyway, There are alot of interesting things on this forum & i will definitely be putting this in my favorites and visiting regularly :)

PS: I have a 1990 3L GQ patrol, 4" Suspension lift, 35" MTZ, Rear quater chop ect. Nothing too exciting, but gets me alot more places than a few of my mates Toymotors :P

Welcome mate, great bunch here and a couple of great blokes in the ACT already.

Sounds like you broke a CV? Breaking a bearing on one of these is near impossible but a CV is a much easier thing to smash and it will make a mess of just about everything else.
