Hi, I have done most of the rebuild on my Gu 2.8 that had major problems (noted in a previous thread).
Just thought id update some pictures etc of the rebuild process so far. Still waiting on new turbo and Clutch.
A major problem i found was the dipstick was the incorrect one for that engine, it was too short. So having too much oil in the pan splashing with the crankshaft wouldn't have helped the destruction of the engine.
