Gauge advice for 06 zd30 please

Hi guys can you offer me some advice please. Searched some threads but thought a quick answer or link might help out.
I've got a monster intercooler coming and a dawes valve, module and three inch exhaust on the way.
Question is - i don't have a boost or pyrometer gauge as yet. Will a scangauge or ecutalk tell me what I need to know? And will a scangauge work on a 2006 zd30 di ?

Scan gauge won't work on an MY06.

Ecutalk will 'cept it won't tell you the EGT so bottom line is you will need a Pyro.

Are you getting a needle valve with the dawes as a kit?

No worries... should have added that the Scangauges don't show EGT either as neither the Di or CRD has no sensor for that parameter so we are all in the same boat

Had a think about it and pretty sure I have a few type K thermocouples and digital temperature controllers in the shed. I'll sort something out when the new exhaust arrives :)
