Has anyone put a Cruise control on a 4.2 originally to a 3 litre wiring.

Wondering if anyone has fitted a cruise control to a modified 3 litre wiring to a 4.2 engine, it will have to be vacuum cable cruise. But want it to go through the steering wheel clock spring as there is wiring there but not sure what wires under dash to hook too, anyone done this mod

Assuming you have the electric control for the wheel? If so, you can trace the wires from the wheel and through the clock spring. I had to do similar when I fitted a GU4 leather wheel to my GU2. The wiring on the clock spring was totally different.
