Hi all I need to get some info on those two captive nuts up the front of the chassis on the GU wagon
I have an 04 and the nuts are 12mm x 1.25. Mego has an 11 model and is the same
but looks like Hodges 09 model has 14 mm,
I know the 99 -01 models have 14mm on the inside of chassis on the drivers side only
I'll wait till Hodge is back on line so I can suss it out a bit more, if you know off hand what size you have feel free to share

Edit I hope I know whats happened ,he has onbolted the OE hook and tried to refit the tow point there,
where as you need to unbolt the hook throw it away and bolt the front recovery points underneath the chassis as per pic
Those holes you see have no captive nuts and require a plate with 3 nuts welded on, as per Mudski's set up on his 2001

Are these the nuts that are welded to the chassis.
If so, my vehicle is 12mm x 1.25.

This is the biggest gap I found on the recovery points. And the other photo is to show that holes do line up. Just need to be filed out a bit more and she is fixed.

My mistake guys, I just removed the bolt from the drivers side hook and rechecked it with a die nut. It is a 14mm.

20 seconds with a file, and holes are perfect for a 14mm bolt now. Very little meat was taken off, so not impacting on integrity at all. Will be fitted tomorrow.
Awesome product TD!
