Just signed up to the forum.

I don't own a Patrol yet, just sold my Disco, so I'm looking into buying a GU 4.2 TD in the near future (maybe a series IV if my cash will stretch that far, but more likely an early one 1998-2001). Will be used as a daily driver, family tourer, and weekend machine.

:tongue: Nah threedogs, I've owned 2 Disco's in my time (a heavily/highly modded D1 V8, and most recently a slightly modded D2 V8), and both were excellent.

I just found that they just don't suit my situation/circumstances now (room for the family, towing, etc.), so I'm now looking for something that I can use as an all-rounder (daily driver, family tourer, and my weekend machine), and something that I'll be keeping for 8+ years.
