Hi all, I have a 2002 3L turbo diesel auto patrol and the plastic lug that the radiator hose connects to has snapped off when we went to change a split hose. Of course this is part of the housing on top of the radiator therefore we have to remove the radiator to change the top tank. My partner has taken 2 bolts out of the bottom but thinks there is more. Anyone know how many bolts on the bottom of the radiator that we need to look for.

Cheers
Vik

I am not sure with the 3lt Gu's but on the GQ's it is only 2 bolts on the top and the ratiator drops into 2 lugs so there are no bolts on the bottom??

Then its just the hoses that hold it in.. you also need to remove the shround before removing??

you can replace the broken piece with a 1/4 brass air hose fitting, scratch the thread apply some thread tape or RTV
and screw it in. easy fix IMO

thanks threedogs we will try that tomorrow. Don't really want to have to pay for a new radiator top when I don't need to.
