Hi All,

I know there's been plenty written on front recovery points but I haven't been able to find anything on my issue.

I'm looking at fitting front recovery points but can't see how I would be able to use them if fitted because my bullbar hangs down to low.
Pictures doesn't show chassis rails but gives an idea of how low the bar sits.

Just wondering if there's a simple way around this other than taking to the bar with a grinder

Anyone got any ideas or had a similar problem

Cheers
Simon

Raise the mounting points on the bulbar with new hikes or fab a new plate up

drill two 12mm holes 35mm apart horizontal on the two uprights on your bull bar also weld '
a 6mm backing plate to suit, then you'll be able to bolt two rated black hooks on with a keeper spring
Replace any bull bar bolts with rated zinc plated ones chances are the OE ones are rusted

Thanks threedogs,

I was wondering if there was a way of attaching something suitable to the bullbar which would also then make access easier then climbing underneath.

Shouldn't be an issue snatching of points on the bullbar?

Most of the earlier style bars had the holes already there don't use the holes under neath they wil/have failed in the past.
Saying that you could profile some 10mm plate and fully weld
that on where your recovery holes are that would work as well but not as they are
