New forum app in development

Hi folks,

Well the time has come where we have to say goodbye to MC and Tapa apps.

I have now decided the only way forward is to develop our own app that we will have full control over.

This needs to happen within 1 month before the others shut down so I am currently developing this as we speak.

It's going to be a mammoth nightmare and I am praying we do not go through a hell of a lot of bug fixing but I think It's inevitable!!!!

Once the BETA version is good to go I would love some help in testing both iOS and android versions from you lot and lets build something that works for us!

It's unfortunate that MC are getting the rough deal with the efforts they put into theirs but I am willing to take this on myself and get it happening otherwise we will not have an application to use on the forum which will hurt!!!

I don't think MC are getting a rough deal, they have put no effort into theirs look how long it has been between bug fixes. MC are all about advertising and making money.

I'm still at a loss why you need an app ? I have no issues using my android brouser on my phone and safari on ipad what's the benefit? To save zooming in on buttons if you have fatfinger syndrome like me?

Notifications, helping keep track or threads your following, easy posting pics plus other things its really just to make it easier and faster to navigate the forum i guess

I'm pretty sure I've got internet access, but the screen is that small, I'm lucky to read SMS's. lol.

Out here in the sticks, I've got a Telstra Tough 2 phone.

Anyway, I prefer the name 'nappies', not diapers. lol
