Hi guys I am looking at cost to get the bench tops done as my daughter put a red hot pot on the laminate bench top and basically destroyed it, I am hoping someone has a contact in the industry any info would be appreciated.

depending on the position of the burn mark you could contact a carpenter to router out the area and insert a cutting board or tile

Stropp,

You could replace the bechtop yourself from Ikea.

They sell benchtops (along with teh whole kitchen) in 1800 and 2400 lengths. If I remember correctly, I had to buy an 1800 long bench top for my kitchen (when I was building it) and it was only $140.00

You could do your whole kitchen again for a couple of hundred.

To put stone benchtops on my kitchen would cost over $3500.00.

Cheers,

Rob

ring up the nearest Stone mason and get a quote,
a Kitchen place may be more expensive

I think they can cut it to size and shape for you. They may even have an install service.
