Dump pipe and exhaust mounting

I recently added the EGT and noticed that the exhaust basically hangs off the turbo. I bought the Trol with the 3" system already installed. Question is should there be a fixing bracket from the dump to the engine block for support or do they just hang off the turbo?

No mate mine just hangs off the turbo and the brackets are under the car.

What engine? My 3ltr Di, the dump pipe is bolted to the engine block. Was like that with the stock pipe and is the same with the 3inch pipe I now have.

3ltr di also Mudski. I was thinking it should have had something there. A lot of weight hanging off a turbo.

There should be a bracket in the inside section of the dump pipe against the engine. I wouldn't trust 3 studs holding the entire front section of the exhaust
