to do this swap ill have to find a donor car but can I use a gu as well or just gq or any other like mq mk thanks kev

Hi Kev.

So you want to swap out a TB42 out of a GQ? And put a TD into that GQ? If that's right then Any TD will be fine. They did not come in the M series.

so all the parts from a gu like fuel tank and other stuff is going to fit and yes its a gq ti

Lots and lots of stuff will fit the GQ from a GU. D you have a GU donor car?? Why don't you swap all your good bits from the GQ to the GU with the engine still in it? Would be my choice for sure!

The Sub tank from a GQ and GU are not compatible but the rear main tanks are compatible.

I have now a awesome condition gq ti tb42 efi now I want to find and replace the tb42 for a turbo diesel and go squash some yotas and the drivers
