As the title anyone been following Survivor Man seems a bit more sensible than Bear Grylls.
He pulled his Tojo apart the other day to fashion traps and spears, It only ran out of fuel.
he did however stay with the 4x4

I've seen it once and he was more realistic about what you should actually do in the event of being stranded

I like him, he's a lot more chilled out than Bear.

One thing that really impresses me is that when he says he is on his own, he really is. He lugs all his own camera gear with him, so when you see an impressive shot of him walking in the distance, he has to set it up, do the shot, then go back and get his gear. So he really does a lot more than just drink his own pee.

Ray Mears is still the king though.

This episode he used a fire piston been dying to get one but was a smoker at the time so always had a lighter.
Might have to get one now as I haven't had a dart for a long time now.

3D, have you seen this doco?

It's called "Off the grid" and charts Stroud and his family building a completely independant dwelling out bush.

This is probably my favourite "survival"/outdoors documentary:

Yeah that one is a classic. Way better than any of the current crop of 'look at me' survivalists.
