Just thought that I would start this thread to make everyone aware what is required if/when you attend this Trip.
Please feel free to add to it everyone, but be aware I will delete any hijacking posts.....not that anyone here would do that, would we.
If we get enough input here I will make this thread Sticky.

1. First and most importantly: You must have a good sense of humor, the warped the better (like mine).
Do not take anything personally, we are going on this trip to enjoy this great country of ours and meet the people we have become friends with on this forum, that's what it is all about.

A Nissan Patrol
Tent, swag or decked out car to sleep in
Food (can't stress this enough, went camping last year and one bloke rocked up with 3 slabs, 2 cans of baked beans and 3 packets of 2 minute noodles)....He was like a rat after the first day
Recovery gear
Enough alcohol to support your intake for the entire trip
Friendly and honest attitude
Cooking utensils and cooking items
Water
Food ( I'll say it again)
Enough alcohol to last you the entire trip (one more time...lol)

I think everybody's trying to say is........

1. Be self sufficient in every way, shape and form
2. Don't rely on anybody except yourself (unless you need help in any way, shape or form)
3. Respect yourself and the environment where we're going.
4. No drink driving, even if we end up on private property.
5. Those with NissanPatrol.com.au stickers on their trucks.........enough said.

My 2c worth. Hope it helps.

Take care out there.
