G'day guys, I have recently purchased an 88 GQ 4.2L turbo diesel in Darwin, I purchased the rig with the hopes of restoring her to her former glory and having a bit of fun in the mud on the side. It is riding on a set of 2 inch tough dog springs and shocks with a set of 31 inch BFG all terrains, unfortunately there is a little bit of work required to get her back on the road but in the end it will be all worth it.
I look forward to talking to the other members of the forum and gain the valuable information I will need to help the restoration.
Cheers guys.

That was the engine bay before I got into cleaning it, first point of call is to get rid of that filter and hook up the snorkel before I take it anywhere near water

Things are starting to come along nicely pulled out the old cyloncle filter for the snorkel and made some room for a stainless airbox to go in and finally plumb in the snorkel and get rid of the pod on the turbo 42989
