photos taken between dargo and talbotville..we crossed 24 river crossings that day..it rained for 4 days constantly..creeks turned to river's.some fast running ,we just made it to talbotville and had to go around the long way to get back to dargo..a prado got caught in river..i will post a picture if you like ..its a toyota though..it could not be recovered..he had his partner.and 2 kid in vehicle.just shows how easy to misjudge things..

Prado photos are scary stuff, hope everyone was OK.....some people just don't use their brains.

sounds like a great trip mate, pics look great. It is a shame about your friend in the Prado, very scarey stuff. Some of the crossings can get very deep very quickly. Rest assured you friend is not alone, there have been MANY 4x4s lots in the rivers in the high country this year.

Hope they are ok. pics would be great.
