Need help tie rod

I have just installed some drop boxes and they went in great. I was putting the tie rod back in but can't seem to tighten it up as the bolt spins. It's the bolt where it attaches to the wheel. The bolt I am talking about has the rubber boot on it.

I needed to take it out to remove the radius arms.
Any help would be great

Did you just hit it to release it mate? So it's a Taper lock tie rod end. It should have no trouble tightening. Give it a little tap down from the top to engage the taper and you should have no further trouble. If it's spinning that easy though how is the health of that tie rod end?? Is is Knackered? Should not be that loose.

If the nuts at the top put some load on the bottom of the tie rod with a jack if its up the other way put some weight on the top with a big screwdriver or crow bar.

I have tried all my clamps and all sorts of things, but managed to do it. I used a few clamps and used the impact wrench was a pain in the ass. But got there in the end.

Did you put any grease On the taper??

I did use some grease,
While I was doing the drop boxes, I replaced the radius arm bushes and the panhard Rod bushes. I can't seem to press out the big bush, the one on the drivers side, I was using a 12tone press and it didn't budge. How have others done it?
I might get it done at the same time when I get a wheel alignment done.

Spray crc on it and let it sit for a bit..

Drill through the rubber bush until you can get a hacksaw blade in the bush. Saw through the outer steel part of the bush , you can push the bush out easy then as it is not tight in the radius arm any more.

Freeze lubricant spray.
The sudden temp difference helps to open & allow lube to penetrate a little better.
about $20 a can but worth it.
Becomes very hand for stubborn tie,ball joints etc.
