As suggested does anyone here or know anyone who has a Captains chair fitted.
Its getting increasingly difficult to climb in the cabin

By captains chair do you mean fold down arm rests?

nah swivel, I already have a strato 3000 touring seat with lumbar but need one that twists and lock.
see them mainly on Winnebagos and some F250S. Not sure on 4x4

my mother has problems getting in and out like your situation
she purchaced a thing like a lazy susan that sits on the seat and she can swivel to get in and out
got it from a disability shop
the ones that sell medical aids

The centre console wouldbe easy enough to modify but I don't think there would still enough room due to the side pillar between the front and rear doors?

it just sits on top of your seat 3 cm high and35 cm wide

WOW 4OFF I'm not that bad but good to see they make them,
"Son of" put me onto a mob that do a proper swivel Captains chair,
it looks like after it swivels it moves forward slightly so it can twist,
I'll be giving them a buzz later on what models it can be retro fitted to.

Ive emailed them for an answer they are based in Toowoomba
the mob are called REBEN, they do lots of disability things not just swivel chairs

Just received a reply they are not 100% sure if they can do a patrol as no one has asked before.
cost is about $4500 to fit and engineer, they were optimistic it could be done,

I was thinking the "Turnout" seat frame looks like it would do just what you described ?
