View Full Version : Thoughts are with Boots and family

Boots was at my house Saturday morning helping me with my car and he had to leave at 12.30pm as it was his daughters 10th birthday..
Upon leaving he checked his phone which he had left in his car to have a message on there to say his daughter had a temp of 40 degrees and his wife was on the her way to the hospital...
He sent me a message yesterday saying things were not great and another this morning explaining she had severe pneumonia and she is in intensive care on life support and the next 24/48hrs and crucial..
Shocked is my response... out of the blue like that.. I have a 10 year old daughter and cant imagine how I would feel..
I have asked Chris to keep me informed as I cant help but worry for him and his wife and those that have met Chris know he is one genuine top bloke..
So my best wishes go out to the Boots family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just got a text message and needed to share straight away..
Chris just said that things still not good with the doctors doing a minor procedure to her left lung yesterday arvo as there was some drama (did not tell me what?) and they have decided to do the same with the right lung today.
Her fever is still very high......
They are hoping this will set things on the path to recovery??
I swear when she pulls through as I know she will I am going round to give Chris a cuddle (that would be hard for him as he is a blokey bloke) and drink some beer ( I am sure he will want a Bundy)
Lets all hope for the best and use our combined NP good thoughts to gt her through this!!!!!!!!!

Thankyou everyone for the well wishes and support through this horrible ordeal that my family has just been through. Special mention to Jonathan (BA) for putting it out there and communicating almost on a daily basis . My daughter Charlotte was having her 10th birthday celebrations that weekend 15/16 of feb .Saturday was an arvo party with 10 school friends and sunday was a bbq at home with family and reloes . Well she woke up with a fever sat and started to vomit at her party in the arvo . That night she woke with back pain so my wife and I decided to take her to hospital . Then our world turned upside down , a chest exray revealed Phneumonia and taken to intensive care, her vitals were poor so they placed her on life support . A total of ten days in the royal childrens was needed for her to recover enough to be released yesterday . Such a huge relief to have her back and normality to resume at the boots family . Happy days once more , So thanks again everyone it means a lot to me .
