Hi gents, question.. Will a carby from an auto gq with the tb42 engine fit onto one that is manual without any issues? the two carbies appear slightly different, the auto one has what I think is a throttle position sensor.
let me know,
cheers guys

They're are differences but the auto should still work on the manual.

Hopefully someone can confirm this?

Yep the tps (throttle position sensor) can be removed and the carby will operate as a manual one. Two screws and slide it off the shaft.

My auto gq actually had a manual carby on it when I bought it and therefore didn't have the tps. It still ran but it ment the gearbox was operating without the tps input signal which ment the computer thought it was at idle the whole time and changed gears prematurely.
