Hi All,
I've got a 2000 GU Patrol wagon 3.0L diesel Auto with the ZD30 engine.
I replaced the fuel pump in it but the mechanic burnt it out trying to start it as the ECU was faulty. After having the ECU fixed and another pump put in, my mechanic says it starts fine but once you drive it and it warms up to operating temperature, it stalls and looses all its power. This mechanic has had it for 8 months now and full of excuses when I ask why he hasn't been working on it or more to the point, fixed it.
Was hoping someone would have some ideas on this problem as I don't know a lot about 4x4s, or if someone could recommend an experienced Nissan Patrol mechanic in the Geelong region?
