View Full Version : rear barn door seal needs glue together

hi guys as the title says i need to glue the rear barn door seal together, mine has split apart near the top and as they are pricey i thought i could glue the two parts back together so does anyone know of a glue flexible enough ??

I used rapid fix on splits in my door seals two years ago, and they are still going strong. Expensive stuff though.

A Quality brand Super Glue, been using it on door rubbers/seals for over 20 years (inc my own car) with great succes !

i thought the super glue may be a little stiff for that and crack open again with the movement.

I'd use AQUASEAL, used to repair wetsuits and rubber products. Use it all the time on wetsuits and it's a highly flexible elastic urethane.
About $17 from any dive shop.

While the joint itself is semi rigid, it is so thin ,and sticks so well , the rubber still moves as one.
