My wife uses it as her daily drive, have tried to convince her that we should get a little car for her to drive but she likes riding up high.
Don't know how long the clutch is going to hold out the way she drives though.

Increased application of the gas peddle and friction peddle.. What are you getting around town??
Mine is a daily.. As much as I would like a weekend bus, it does allow early detection of issues and fix time before play time..

Essentially a weekend toy, but the business owns it and it is used when we go to rural properties to work.
The Hiace van is good but doesn't like a wet farm track or paddock especially if the trailer is on.
The winch is mighty handy for hauling up 3 phase overhead cables too.

Like TPC I might buy a ute as my weekender and leave the GU for daily/touring duties. MOF can drive that
Don't like quarter panels, and not allowed to chop the back off the GU

Weekend and touring with the family. I've only had since just before Xmas and they weren't going to give us much for our ba fairmont ghia so we kept it for the missus to drive to the train station and shopping centre duties. So now I've got 2x 4wds. The patrol for family touring and a daihatsu rocky with a v6 for getting dirty and bashing around

I get around 600km off the main tank. It used to get about 750 off the main tank a few months ago. I service it regularly and driving style hasn't changed.

Guessing ac gets used little more over summer.
That's 6.6k/L, 15.5L/100 which imo is pretty good around town..

My GU is a daily driver. Living in Townsville, I need something big to play with the local yocals. Average about 750-800km on main tank, with the warning light kicking in at about 700k mark. Anyone know how far you can travel once the low fuel light is on.

Daily driver, do a 152km round trip each work day so like the comfort and with all the wildlife on our roads it add a little safety to.

Ours is the wife's daily, I don't get to drive it during the week. Often I even have to move "my"(as she calls it) V6 RA rodeo so she can drive the patrol 1.6 kms to the shops.
