gday as the title says im chasing after the factory plastic cover that goes over the top of the main battery,will pay to post to Tassie 7172,thanks

I'll take a pic later but the battery box doesn't protect the top of the Pos terminal
it connects to a hose to cool and vent the battery case, trouble is it only fits the OE battery case
after market batteries have a bigger casing.

It fits on my aftermarket battery.......

not on mine, previous owner left it off but that battery has failed
and a new one installed who knows may fit the new batterry

That's what your post should have said then. Don't assume just cos yours didn't fit the no one else's will. Try to give more information, like what battery you have that it doesn't fit etc instead of just saying they don't fit.
