beware of after market hubs

been having troubles with my y61 sliping teeth inside front free wheeling hubs so i replaced them on to chew the new ones out in about 3 hours. thinking it was somthing major turns out some after market hubs are not up to standards of geniune or good quality after market ones such as avm just a word of warning to any out there

Agreed. This is one small item that if it fails it will change your Patrol's capability entirely. Avm hubs are great but but higher maintenance than OEM auto hubs. I converted my OEM auto's to manual, then went ourt and got AVM's. One needed to come of for a reason and wouldn't budge. It had to be broken to be removed. I ended up putting the OEM's back on.

In my experience oem all the way or superiors 4140 items if getting serious, these are a copy if the factory items but made from a far tougher material. I have seen a few avm's break and remove themselves
