View Full Version : Low oil pressure switch help

Hey guys and girls I am putting an oil pressure gauge i my gu and I have been told that the low pressure oil switch is under the turbo but I can not see it so would anyone know where else it could be? Any help would be awesome

There's a switch near the starter, it's supposed to be the high pressure switch but that's where I fitted my gauge to and it seems to work fine. Just shows me that my oil pressure is to low so now I have another problem to fix...lol

What engine mate? TD 42 it on the right side above the oil filters about the middle of the block

If yours is an early 2002 model ZD30 it will only have the one sender on the drivers side.
If you get under the vehicle and look up between the starter motor and block you will see the single wire that goes to the sender.

Nah I have a zd30 3.0l turbo di. Been told you put it on the low pressure switch

I try to do the oil pressure switch today but could not get the starter motor off so I could get to the switch what other way could I get to it?
