I would suggest hooking up with some of the NSW members up your way, and go out on a trip with them, or join a 4wd club near you.

Don't just head out there on your own, like I did when I got my first fourby, as you are likely to end up in trouble.... like I did ....:clownredpuff:

There are lots of skills to learn, and lots of difficult decisions to make as a newer offroader, and there were many times, especially early on, where I was over the limits of my abilities, and that isn't nice when you are miles from anywhere, and have a lot of money invested in your truck.

There are some up bells line of road. Some close to kurrajong, more up half way, and more at zig zag.
