Barn doors

Ok strange question but just wondering if I can take the tailgate of my mq shorty and put gq barn doors on

How are you going to hinge it if at all it did fit.

Couldn't I drill out some holes and bolt them on

Just wondering cause the top glass door of my tailgate just works when it wants

pull the inside panel off and you may see what the problem is.

Im gonna try that tonight when the kids are sleeping but was wondering cause im finding mq parts hard to come by

Big job mate but can be done, you would need to weld in plates inside the panel to hinge them, some MKs came with barn doors, have a look around the wreckers to get an idea of what's needed, you may even find the correct doors.
