I found in the net some web sites where companies takes a standard car and make a conversion it into electrical, also DIY is available.

A few examples:

So the question is – In the far future can you suppose, to change internal combustion engine in your troll to electric with the same or better characteristics or old troll should eat oil?

PS. Lets miss out heavy accumulators, less daily mileage or motor water protection it is a matter of time.

Tesla can ride up to 276 miles on fully charged accumulators already.

Electric would be great in an off-roader. Torque from 0 rpm oh yeah lol.

It would be a big inconvenience IMO what if your doing a road trip or staying at a motel you will have to fark about to make sure you get a park with power or extension cords . F that not for me never will be lol

G`day Alexander
i believe that the internal combustion engine will be around for along time yet.
Synthetic and alcohol type fuels are still in their infancy and with a little development the internal combustion engine will get a lot smaller and have way more power and torque than we have now
We have super capacitors now which can store quite a large amount of energy but the problem is recharge time
It would be nice not to have to do oil changes ETC but I think we are stuck with them of a long time to come

There is also a mob developing incredibly efficient compressed air motors. They envision using all the heat from compressing the air as well.

Sure combustion engine will be long time here. It has no alternative now.
But future is near.
Pioneer in this direction is tesla. (it is not advertising!) It can be charged from standard household wall outlets 120v or 240v.
For 35 miles 1 hour 6 minutes charging time.

If it goes electrical I'd be out of a job lol there's already to many electric bullshit in cars now that your average mechanic is pretty much useless unless your dual tradesmen (2 years to go and that's me)

Look up mauswerkz on Facebook they have an electric nissan 300zx with more power than the original turbo v6

lol I think it is question for engineers, may be a special regime when you can force electric engine to 10 000 rpm and then give torque moment to the wheels and

No problem with a patrol drivetrain ha ha.

You could limit torque if required very easy with an electric motor. Cut power lol
