Hey folks,
I’m trying to track down some rear suspension bump stop rubbers for my Nissan Civilian bus with no luck.
Yeah I know it’s not a Patrol, but I thought I’d put it out there in case any of you have seen a Civilian sitting at a wreckers or in a paddock somewhere.

Mine is an ’89 W40 model as shown below.

Alternatively, if anyone knows where I can get some bump stop rubbers I can alter to fit please let me know. They are in the pic below. Two bolts hold them on, with the distance between bolt hole centres around 134mm. Height of the rubbers I have are about 65mm, but up to 80mm would be fine.
Am wondering if any 4wd ones might be close?

Nissan want $300+gst for a pair with an 8 week wait to get them from Japan. You can virtually guarantee that any of these buses sitting around somewhere will still have them bolted to the chassis

They look very patrol like with rear coils. I'd meassure mine up but currently 500 k away..

Agree, check the ones on your Ute Cuppa, bet they are similar. The Patrol ones measure 70mm

Yea Kallen they do,
why not ring the local wrecker down that way and see what they have.
Or if you spy a chassis in a paddock whip out the socket set

Just had a gander at the Patrol. They are indeed similar, but unfortunately not similar enough to allow them to be altered to fit. :(

Found some. :) Range rover/Defender bump stops from the UK @ $5.90 each plus postage. Works out at 50 something bucks for two delivered. At 1/6th the cost that Mr Nissan wants it’s worth doing the modifying required. Drill new mounting holes & make a 10mm plate to sit under it, to make it a bit ‘taller’.
