Technically - anyone from Wales isn't a POM. Only the English are as far as I am aware. When I lived in Scotland the Scots took offence at being called POMs.

I lived in Wales for about 5 years, beautiful country. I live in Melb now tho
BillsGU, you are correct...one quick way to piss off the Welsh is to call them Poms, i had a lot fun with that every time they tried to take the piss out of my Aussie accent :)
