Good Evening from a very hot Adelaide. My name is Trevor, I am 57 years old and believe it or not my Patrol is my first entry into 4X4's. The car was originally my son Steve's, but when he wanted to get rid of it, I jumped at the idea of buying it. It is a GU 2.8 litre Turbo Diesel, basically stock but with better lighting. I have 2 x 100watt Cibie Super Oscars spots and HID headlights.

Can't wait for me and my wife Ros to go exploring, but just at the moment I'm learning how to drive it properly. Absolutely amazed at its capabillities so far. Catch you all later.

I highly recommend joining a 4WD club if you have not already. They do driver training courses and can get you out on trips where you can benefit from the experience of others. You will learn very quickly just how capable a 4WD can be in the right hands.
