New Member Canada needs some input on G20 overdrives.

I'm in Canada and interested to learn more about the Patrol G20 - they are a very rare beast here in British Columbia.

We manufacture an overdrive here to suit Series Land Rovers and Defenders. Recently we have been approached by a gentleman in the USA and asked if we can produce an overdrive unit for the G20.

Technically this seems not to difficult but some investment is required. How much interest would there be in such a device. It would cost about A1600. Seems a lot to invest in a vehicle that sell for so little in OZ.......

And is the G20 transfer case used on other models and years of Nissan?

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Welcome to the forum mate. Can you post a picture of a G20 please? Obviously some countries assign a different tag for the same models.

The model is the short version made in the 60s and 70s with a four speed gearbox.. LJ40?
