Getting some blokes number today to do it hopefully its just the tappets and nothing else although everynow and then im driving and lose power for a split second

My bulldog looks exactly the same as yours just with a little brown patch over the other eye aswell

Do it your self, there not hard and you only need a couple of tools.

Yeah Billy is American bulldog only that tan patch on one eye .He's a Johnson not the other one. 55kg 13mths
Don't let this mechanic talk you into other work.
Losing power may be anything check all rubber vacuum and fuel lines , being and older Patrol they could be OE and need replacing.
Vacuum hose is only 50cents a metre if that, get the tappets done and take it from there.
Does your dog sit lazy as well

Yeah shes lazy as shes a johnson aswell she was 16kg at 6months when I got her she wasn't looked after at all now shes 12 months and 30kg shes very picky with what she eats she wont eat the same food more then 2 days in a row and I have to cook her home made food

Well the hose from the air box to the motor isn't sealed properly

Well when I got the car it was smoking from the exhaust but if you took that hose off it wouldn't smoke
