Hi everyone

A mate and i went 4wding on the goldy and we came across a dumped 60 series wagon. Someone had already removed the rear diff, It was shagged. it looks like every bolt for the crown wheel has been sheared and the crown wheel somehow busted through the rear of the housing.
I have never seen anything like it

What do ya think????????

I'm glad that's not out of my car! It would make a really interesting garden sculpture, would really get people talking.

You should of seen the rest of the car.. Someone had removed the rocker cover and both front hubs the engine oil had that much sludge and so much of some sort of oil conditioner or addative that it look like, Fair dinkum blackcurrent aeroplane jelly (no exaggeration) AND it was a petrol, the front passenger cv was shattered and used needles littered the floor........... Disgusting

So no spares left then?

My mate wanted the gearbox and said to him "look at the rest of the engine and drive train, do you really think that gearbox would be any good" I wouldnt touch it with 1,986,451 foot pole... if there is such a pole lol.. it might still be there. Its in the bush between coomera train station and the M1

What about a 1,986,452 foot pole?

Yes.... I think that could be an option

That is one hell of a failure. I wonder what led to that. Massive abuse plus lack of maintenance perhaps? Whatever happened it wasn't going far after that
