I have a 98 GU Patrol 2,8l and with oil in radiator.
The first item rebuilt was the oil cooler and then 3 weeks later the oil was still in radiator.
Next we got a brand new genuine head put in. There was still oil but not thick and gluggy like before.
Next thing to go on a shooting trip just past Dalby was the turbo. We got a reconditioned turbo in Dalby.
We have done many flushes and the oil in the radiator is as thick, black and gluggy as ever.
The mechanic has suggested by passing the oil cooler and run car for 3 weeks to see if any hairline cracks in the cooler.
Has anybody got any experience with this occurence or any suggestions?? Appreciate any posts thks
