Temp sensors

can someone please clarify what sensor operates what?
1. Top right hand Radiator
2. bottom right hand Radiator
3. on top thermostat housing

Okay number 3 goes to the gauge.

others goe to cpu and when fail it puts light on dash and also puts car into limp mode

That maybe my problem because once hot it starts surging.
