thought this would be a easier question to ask,the son in law has said to me to buy -13 offset steel rims to suit my gq patrol which has a 2 inch lift,i was going to get some -26 as thats all that seems to be around whenever i go looking for rims i have 33x12.50 tyres and am yet to get rims as ive been told the -26 will hang out past the guard??so i dont know does anyone have any answers for me??thankyou everyone

Mate, I think the standard offset is -11. I am running the standard offset and only 10.5 inch wide tyres. Knowing how mine sit in the arches I would imagine a -26 with 12 inch wide tyres would be close to sitting outside the guard. Not 100% sure though.

Hey mate, I've got -22 offset rims with 10.5 inch tyres with the standard GQ plastic guards and they are very very close to sticking out the side.

I'm running 33x12.5 on 15x8...... I think they're -13 but can't be sure and they do hang out slightly but not a lot. If I remember I'll try and get a photo up tomorrow

So the guys that are running 10.5" tyres, are you on 7 or 8 inch wide rims?

running 33-12-15 KM2's on 8 inch rims with -25 offset ...they stick out about 1 inch outside of the standard flare on the GQ with 2 inch lift....have to add on a strip of rubber about 30 mm to keep it legal...

My rims are 8"

My cousin has -44 10" wide rims with 12.5" wide tyres and they sit inside the factory flares on his Shorty. I'll try and find a photo of it, it's a Japanese Safari with massive flares, looks tough as!
