View Full Version : what is the best offset for 15x8 with 33x12.50 on gq

so the title pretty much ses it all ,i have just bought some 33x12.50 and am now chasing rims but all i seem to see are -26 offset whereas i was told that -13 offset would be the better way to go on a gq.?does anyone know what the offset is they are running with there 33x12.50 on 15x8 rims on a gq?this is doing my head in..thanks everyone,oh yeh i have a 2 inch lift

-22 is better alround, I assume it is a GQ as GU's run 16" plus rims

I have been told -22 also, that is the way I am going for my GQ

Pretty sure its the higher the negative number the more the wheel sticks out..

Pretty sure stock is -13, so if you stick with that you'll gain 1/2 inch either side if you want wider then -22.. Didn't think they did -26 but could be wrong.
Have hear of some running -44.. That pushes the wheel 1 1/2 inches outside of the Stock wheel track.
Looks tough but can cause steering issues if your front end isn't 100%..

So yea, I'll be going -22 if I ever get to 15x8 rims..

Morton I run 15x8 rims with 12.5x33 MTZ on my GU, 15's fit fine with out any modifications or clearance issues. I do believe it is the TB48's that have the extra large discs and can't fit 15's

Anyway another vote for -22 as that's what I have, although on the GU, I have used them on a GQ and they fit fine.

Yes the more neg offset the more the wheel sticks out.
neg is a measurement that moves centre away from the face of the rim.
