For TB42s or RB30 - with a carby
Another cause of the intermittent misses, and Idle issue- escially on LPG is
A loose carby.
My truck was playing up - while pulling the air cleaner off the carby, I noticed a I had a bit of movement in the carby. ( approxmalty 3 mm gap)
The cause will be the 3 screws at the base of the carby that hold the carby together.
I will have to pull the carby flip It and do up the screws.
On lpg the motor uses vacuum to suck the gas in, a air leak will reduce the vacuums - also run crap and uses more LPG
If you have the large LPG mixers sitting on the top of the carby check your carby regularly - I have a small ring mixer and the standard air filter and it has came loose
I had the same fault on the RB30S I had in my MK
