Hey guys.

Been searching around but couldnt find an anwser.. I'm currently doing a turbo conversion on my td42 and need to know what thread the rear coolant bung at the back of the block is?

I know the oil feed is 1/8npt

If its 3/8 looks like i might have to fun a reducer to get it down to -4...

This bung is the coolant return yes? feed comes from the heater hose above the thermostat?

Yes correct mate.

Thermostat is return, bung is feed. You shouldn't need to get a reducer most hydraulic places will have what you need

Yeah it doesn't matter which ports for the turbo but that's the way the coolant will flow from the bung to the thermostat

Prob would work better that way though for sure. I copied rosscos safari set up from a specialised turbo joint who did it the other way which surprised me.

Yeah appears that i will be needing to go for a trip down to enzed when i pull it apart

Still awaiting some parts to arrive so i can wait!

planning on smashing out the conversion in a few days so just wanna get everything ordered up first!

Do you guys think -6 coolant lines would be to big? Because thinking about it I'm going to have to use a reducer on the turbo aswell.. figure more coolant flow won't hurt
