new years at yeargarup

well a hastily organised trip tp yeargarup was on the cards as i had a mate staying with me and we received an invite so off we went, trip down was uneventful and i dropped into neils place to say hello and he and rusty decided to come down for a night as well. we headed off and found the others camped at the back of the dunes after calling on the radio they drove out onto the beach to show us where they were, we headed in and set up camp. the next day neil showed us a couple of secret spots to camp and rusty showed us how to catch fish, later that day they headed home and we had new years on the beach. The next morning my mate and i headed back early, i swung by to say hello again to neil and his wife jess and old mate headed home to bunbury, neil cooked me up a feed (possum bacon strips and eggs) that bit was for doggy lol. after a quick look around the farm and a bag of avocado i headed home too, a big thx to neil for the hospitality and showing us around, also thx to ewan who invited us down and will be dropping into the forum soon.

Doggy still got some in the freezer mate,anytime i'll get it out and throw it on some coals for ya mate.....Stropp thanks for the invite and it was a pleasure showing you .ya mates and some youngens me special bits down here I love,and yep ya got to throw a line in when that close to the water......Anyone else who wishes to come this far can expect the same hospitality,service and possum strips..love it down here and love showing it off...
