Hey,
Last week i got my gu stuck in a bog hole for over a hour.
Yesterday i checked the breather hose on top of the gear box and it spurted out this grey muck.
Then i emptied the oil out of the gear box and it was water mixed with oil (Was grey).
Does that mean i need to put the gear box apart and clean everything or can i just re fill it with new gear box oil and im on my way?

You will need to flush the gear box out so get a really thin gearbox oil put it in start the car run it for a bit then drain you may need to do this a couple of times

I would just use cheap engine oil to flush it statok. Check autobarn to see if they have specials, can sometimes pick up 5l for less than $15.

I didnt think of engine oil actually. We and bought a cheap 5ltr gear box oil. Ill use that. Ill drain the oil out of it tomorrow and put the stuff i bought today. Then its has 2 new sets of oil in it. Then ill drop the 2nd lot then hopefully it doesn't come out milky
